Our aim is to help towards a diverse society including people of all linguistic backgrounds. Enabling full access for people with language needs to improve quality of life through a high calibre of Interpreters and Translators:

Whether you have a requirement for an Interpreter short term, ongoing, short notice or in advance we register community interpreters across a wide list of languages.

Translation

Community translation is the accurate written translation of one language into another that is effortlessly understood by the reader. Our translators are experienced in translation of an open range of written documentation:

• Letters
• Medical records
• Reports and reviews
• Newsletters
• Certifications
• Passports, birth, marriage and death certificates

Quality

Our rigorous recruitment and selection process is based on:

• Verification of identity
• Two written references
• Written proof that they hold either:
• A Community Interpreters' Qualification
• Are a member of the Institute of Linguists
• A qualification recognised by the Institute of Linguists
• Permit to work in this country
• Criminal records check where this applies
• Face-to-face interviews

KTT recognises the requirements of the service user can vary considerably. Our trained recruitment consultants will provide a confidential, impartial and accurate service matching our bank of interpreters and translators to the client's needs.

Training

Ongoing supervision and training is available to all of our interpreters through delivery of accredited training for all Community Interpreters.
