Checks On Teachers

In nearly three years since its set-up, the internal Recruitment Agency of Kent County Council, Kent Top Temps Ltd has grown rapidly and further growth has seen the creation of the Supply Teachers division to support Kent schools through on-going recruitment of teaching staff across the county.

Statutory measures governing the recruiting of teaching staff are in place across the county to safeguard vulnerable children and the agency reassures that internal processes are in place to check all teaching staff before being placed into assignments.

Amy Glover, Division Manager of the Supply Teachers Division comments:

"Safeguarding children is an absolute priority and I welcome the key measures announced in the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Bill".

Kent Top Temps has already proven its safe vetting procedures to vulnerable people with the success of its Care division that is now eighteen months old.
