Kent Top Temps to operate a ‘Master Vendor’ contract for Kent County Council
Kent Top Temps will be operating a ‘Master Vendor’ contract for Kent County Council over the next three years.
This contract will cover the temporary and contract requirements in the areas of Manual Trades, Social Care, Administration and Clerical, Finance, IT and Human Resources. The agency already runs a similar contract for Interpreters and Translators for Kent. Kent Top Temps will be commencing a massive recruitment drive shortly, entitled 'tempjobsatkcc' eager to encourage local workers to fill roles available in these sectors. Kent Top Temps will also be drawing on their existing excellent relationships with candidates.
Project Manager for the Managed Service, Clare Burgess says; "We are proud to be involved in such a significant local initiative that provides local jobs for local people. We are pleased to be furthering our existing strong relationships with hiring managers at KCC, local agency providers and the people of Kent".
Kent Top Temps Ltd has a strong existing relationship with KCC, having supplied them with temporary staff since 2002 following an in house pilot. The agency will be adopting and implementing the latest initiatives for e-recruitment which will result in significant savings for the Council. This will also aid them in one of their targets of monitoring diversity integration encouraging opportunities for a diverse range of people from all backgrounds and cultures.
The project’s main launch will be on April 1st with Kent Top Temps holding open days located across the County to allow any job hunters to receive information about potential vacancies.
